Boys tennis team falls to the Seymour Owls

Tuesday night the Brown County Eagles boys tennis team faced another hard loss to the Seymour Owls, 5 to 0.
On the varsity singles, Adam Berry (S) defeated Aaron McCann (BC) 6-1,6-2, Isaac Hardin (S) defeated Chase Watson (BC) 6-3,6-3, and Trey Hohenstreiter (S) defeated Josh Miller (BC) 6-3,5-7,10-6. On the varsity doubles, Will Rineheart/Brandon Hubbard (S) defeated Aiden Burt/Nolan Patterson (BC) 6-1,6-0 and Sam Schmidt/Andrew Levine (S) defeated John Oliver/Noah Cochran (BC) 8-0,6-2.
JV lost to Seymour JV, 2 to 3.
In JV singles, Brett Otte (S) defeated Spencer Blee (BC) 6-2, Reid Davis (BC) defeated Grainger Pollert (S) 6-4, and Austen Deckard (BC) def Landon Young (S) 6-5 (4).
In JV doubles, Brandon Terrel/Brandon Handloser (S) defeated Reid Davis/Spencer Blee (BC) 6-2 and Brady Horton/Brady Lake (S) defeated Austen Deckard/Eli Sichting (BC) 6-0.
Coach Roush overall his team was very much in the match, “The Eagles faced a very strong Seymour Owls team tonight. I felt like we were very competitive in our singles matches. Chase played one of his best matches of the season. Josh once again played more like a sophomore than a freshman. Our doubles team were tasked to play a very talented group. I really feel with hard work and dedication this team can be that team the next two years. We have a strong nucleus and will continue to improve our games.”
