Brown County Parks and Recreation will be hosting its third annual Fear Run At Deer Run. In addition to the usual haunted trail, this year Fear Run will feature 6 escape rooms, October 19 and 20.
The first five escape rooms are called: The Bloody Butchery, The Star-Crossed Study, Alarming Alchemy, Clockwork Countdown, and Basic Biology. With the sixth room being a ‘Grand Cirque du Freak final’, which is completely designed and staffed by students from the Brown County school system. In the first five rooms, you will be given five minutes to escape and a time limit of ten minutes in the final room.
Amy Imming, the creator of Fear Run, says “Do not disregard any detail small or large, if you wish to escape in the end.”
Fear Run is fundraiser put on by volunteers every fall to help Parks and Recreation. The ticket booth for Fear Run will be located at the upper concession stand at Deer Run Park which then will be followed by trail to the escape rooms. Children under 12 Will need to be accompanied by a responsible person 16 years and older. Some content will be inappropriate for young children.
Fear Run at Dear Run will be open from 8:00 pm to midnight on Friday the 19th, and 8:00 pm to Midnight the 20th. Admission will be ten dollars per person.
