Stuff-a-Stocking and Light Parade this weekend

The Brown County Community Foundation (BCCF) is hosting Stuff-a-Stocking on December 1. Stuff-a-Stocking is an event where kids, or families, can go around to different participating businesses and pick up some goodies.

The BCCF website says, “On Saturday December 1st, 2018, the Brown County Community Foundation (BCCF) will once again help celebrate ‘Christmas in the Village’ with the 5th Annual Stuff a Stocking event! Saturday from 11am-5pm our family friendly event, Stuff a Stocking, children will have the opportunity to follow a map to over 25 merchants gathering treats, ornaments, toys and more to stuff their Christmas stocking provided by the Brown County Community Foundation.”

Participating businesses include:

BC Community Foundation, 4th Sister Vintage, Angry Robot, Brown County Public Library, Brown County Rock & Fossil Shop/Copperhead Creek Gem Mine, Carmel Corn Cottage, Carol’s Gifts, Casa del Sol, Fallen Leaf Books, Hobnob Corner, Homes On A Limb, J-Bobs, Jack & Jill Nut Shop, JB Goods- Life is Good store, Kiss the Cook, Lawrence Family Glass Blowers, Madeline’s ’s French Country Shop, Main Street Images, McDonald’s, Miller’s Ice Cream, Nashville Christian Church, Nashville Spice Company, Ooey Gooey Cinnamon Rolls, Rich Hill’s Magic & Fun Emporium, Sweet Cozy Living, The Clay Purl, The Educated Otter, The Toy Chest, The Wild Olive, Touch of Silver, Gold, & Old.

Stockings are being provided for this event by local business, For Bare Feet. “The Brown County Community Foundation will also be giving each child a drawstring bag to help them carry their items. Tickets sell out quickly to this festive and fun event. Get yours today!” (The Brown County website) Families are also going to be given a map to show them where these participating businesses are.

BCCF is only selling 300 tickets/stockings, but they have not sold out yet.
