The Brown County Lady Eagles were able to pull off the 35-18 victory Tuesday night to break their four-game losing streak and win in honor of the recent passing of a loyal member of the program, Coral Hamlin.
Neither team jumped to a hot start. At the end of the first quarter, the Lady Eagles had a slim lead of 8-4. The game looked like it was going to be close until the final buzzer. The Lady Eagles were able to pull away in the second quarter as they put up another eight points and left the Thunderbirds scoreless.

d the Lady Eagles in scoring Tuesday night. Stogsdill put up fourteen, this was also enough to lead the game. Gracie Matlock had another solid performance for the Lady Eagles. Matlock put up 11 points and was two rebounds shy from putting up another double-double on the season.
For the Thunderbirds, they were led in scoring by sophomore Sophi Edwards, and senior Shayden Flynn. Each put up six points and Flynn pulled in seven rebounds.
The Ladies will be back in action Friday night as they face a conference opponent, Owen Valley. They will play at 6:00 pm and will be followed up by the varsity boys team.
