Stogsdill scores 14 as Lady Eagles cage the Thunderbirds 35-18

Junior Allison Stogsdill drives against an Eastern Green Point guard Michelle Hatfield.

The Brown County Lady Eagles were able to pull off the 35-18 victory Tuesday night to break their four-game losing streak and win in honor of the recent passing of a loyal member of the program, Coral Hamlin.

Neither team jumped to a hot start. At the end of the first quarter, the Lady Eagles had a slim lead of 8-4. The game looked like it was going to be close until the final buzzer. The Lady Eagles were able to pull away in the second quarter as they put up another eight points and left the Thunderbirds scoreless.
