Students meet monthly with town officials

Nashville has introduced a new youth town council for middle school and high school aged students  living in Brown County.

The group started with about five students, but has almost doubled that number in recent weeks and  meets at the Nashville Town Hall on Saturdays once a month. Town Council Members Nancy Crocker and Anna Hofstetter reached out to Brown County High School Principal Matthew Stark,  to see if there were any students interested in participating. The council is a year around commitment and as students graduate more will be appointed.

During meetings they discuss things to better the community and changes to the town.
